after we left kentucky, we had a killer driving day. we drove through Indiana, Illinois and Iowa in one day. it took us about 13 hours to do. we ended up passing through a time zone which was kind of discombobulating on top of the long drive! we got a motel room that night and ate at this gross diner and fell exhausted into bed.
after saying good bye to will's dad in west virginia, we finally started our road trip into new territory! we camped in charleston, west virginia for one night but i forgot to take pictures (it was a very pretty - on top of this mountain, completed surrounded by trees but way too many noisy bugs!).
the next day, we drove through kentucky and stopped at the Natural Bridge State Park in Slade!
will and i embarked on our journey to california on september 8th, 2009. we left hartford, connecticut and drove first to D.C. to visit will's mom. we stayed there until september 12th then headed to wardensville, west virginia to see will's dad before we traveled westward!

I made it to California okay! We got here last Tuesday but we have been so busy, I haven't been able to update! I will put up pictures of our adventures when I have more time.

my boyfriend and i are embarking on our journey westward tomorrow! we are moving to oakland, california and we should be there by the end of the month. i have just spent the last four days saying goodbye to practically every person that is dear to me. it has been very sad and i am emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed. i knew it was going to be hard to leave but i didn't know it would be this hard.
i never thought i would miss this place so much. it's really not about the place you are - it's about the people that are with you. i'm going to miss so many people and i appreciate everyone so much for being in my life. i feel so blessed to count so many amazing people that are close to me. i love you all so much, i can't even type because i can't see through my tears.
i never thought this day would come ;-( i am excited for my journey but pieces of my heart are being left behind.
i won't really have regular access to a computer while i am on the road but i'll try to update when i can! until next time loveys!!!
OMFG!!!!!!! apparently i entered some contest online through KC101 and won tickets to see Britney at Madison Square Garden in NYC TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! they called me today while i was at work!!!
i am so freakin psyched!!!! my sister brianne is coming down from boston to go to the show with me - she has never seen britney before!!! prepared to be amazed, brianne!!! my boss is letting me leave early tomorrow so we have plenty of time to catch the train into the city and i am coming in late on thursday - yessss!
i am seriously so astounded and awed!!! this is like the tenth time i've won tickets to something from an online contest on the radio in the past two years - i seriously lost count of how many times i have won things, its getting a bit ridiculous!
what a FABULOUS way to end my time here on the east coast! going out with a bang with britney!!!!
you best believe that i am wearing my outfit again for this concert! this is britney's last concert that she is playing in NYC with the Circus tour! maybe i will make her website again??? one can only hope!! look out for me NYC!!!
on august 8th, will and i drove to mansfield, ma to the Comcast Center (also known as Great Woods) to see the Blazed & Confused Tour with the one...the only...SNOOP DOGG!!!!!! it has been a lifelong dream of mine to catch my favorite rapper in concert. i planned this event months in advance but unfortch some things came up so my friends julie, mikala and katie couldn't make it up there. i was a bit bummed about that because this was my last concert on the east coast so i wanted to make it really special and have lots of my friends around. even though they didn't make it, we still managed to have fun. luckily we were able to find takers for two of the three tickets we had left so my sister brianne and her wife yami came, and then they brought along two of their friends.
will and i traveled down to manhattan during july to celebrate my BFF lynnieloo's birthday. we had such a great night!!!
first we started off going to a mexican restaurant and then we went back to lynnie's apt to cut the birthday cake!
this is the underwear i got from the britney spears store for lynnie's present - i bought a pair for myself and for mikala too (early bday present for mikala, her bday is in september).
